(Buenos Aires, June 2016). – The Argentinean Corporate Group, Albanesi, was awarded with five thermal generation projects during the National Distributed Generation Program Bid. These Power Plants add a total of 395 Megawatts to the system and are expected to start running between July 2017 and February 2018.
The Albanesi Group chose Tubos Trans Electric for the manufacturing of the 7 new power transformers that will be needed for the commissioning of these power plants.
The project includes the provision of a 215 MVA 132kV transformer for Renova Thermal Power Plant located in the province of Santa Fe; 3 transformers of 75 MVA 132kV for Ezeiza Thermal Power Plant in Buenos Aires; one 75 MVA transformer for Roca Thermal Power Plant in Río Negro; and 2 Transformers of 75 MVA both for Independencia Central in Tucumán.
