The event was organized by the commercial management of Tubos Trans Electric together with Qualitrol, a leading company in the field of monitoring systems.

(Buenos Aires, August 18, 2017).- The “Club del Progreso” was crowded by guests invited to participate in the technical seminar on "Monitoring and Diagnostics of Transformers".

The presentation was given by Dr. Michel Duval, an internationally recognized leader in the field of Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) and creator of DUVAL TRIANGLE and DUVAL PENTAGON, two of the most powerful methods to identify failures in transformers from the analysis of dissolved gases. Member of CIGRE, IEC and IEEE and with 16 patents to his credit, he is author of more than 90 scientific publications and international standards.

The seminar dealt with the analysis of the condition of transformers by studying the dissolved gases in the oil and the benefits of condition-based monitoring. It was oriented to transmission, distribution, generation companies; consultants; contractors; educators and manufacturers.

Among the participants we can mention the presence of representatives of companies such as EDELAP, EDENOR, EDESUR, EPE Santa Fé, TRANSENER, Salto Grande and YPF among others.
